MMEA, the Massachusetts Music Educators Association, in affiliation with NAfME, the National Association for Music Education, is pleased to present our annual All-State Conference and Exhibition on March 18th–19th, 2027 at the DCU Convention Center in Worcester, MA.


The annual All-State Conference features as many as 100 sessions, several concert hours and spotlight concerts, exclusive exhibit hall receptions, and is attended by more than 700 music educators and nearly 750 of the state’s top student musicians performing in Concert Band, Contemporary Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Band, Orchestra, Percussion Ensemble, SSAA Choir, and SATB Choir.

Gordon College is pleased to announce to MMEA members that they may receive graduate credit through Gordon's Graduate Music Education program for attending the annual MMEA All-State Conference.

Why Register for Graduate Credit?

  • If you are currently pursuing, or plan to pursue a Master of Music Education Degree, graduate credit can be transferable to other institutions in addition to Gordon, to fulfill elective requirements

  • Teachers who accumulate graduate credit can qualify for salary lane change increases within their school districts

  • The requirements are simple; proof of attendance and a summary paper reviewing what you learned from attending conference sessions and concerts.

  • Special MMEA/Gordon partnership discount; only $350 for one (1) graduate credit

Conference Registration Fees:​

REMINDER: If you are applying to be a presenter at this year’s conference and your session is accepted, you do not need to register (you will be automatically registered by MMEA) and your registration fee will be waived. 

Early Bird Registration (June 15th - February 13th)

  • NAfME/MMEA Member: $210

  • NAfME Non-Member: $285

  • NAfME Retiree: $20

Regular Registration (February 14th - March 20th)

  • NAfME Member: $245

  • NAfME Non-Member: $310

  • NAfME Retiree: $25

Collegiate Member Registration (June 15th - February 13th)

  • NAfME Collegiate Member: $10

  • NAFME Non-Member Collegiate: $25

Please note: If you are paying by PO, you will be required to enter the PO Number and an Accounts Payable contact for your district. Please make sure you have this information prior to registration. There will no longer be an option for "PO Pending" as in past years.

Registration is non-transferable and non-refundable. Consideration for a refund in the event of a family emergency must be appealed to the Executive Director.


DEIA & Conference Sessions 

Starting in the 2023-2024 school year, MMEA has adopted a new rubric for evaluating conference workshop session proposals.  This was a cross-functional collaboration between the MMEA DEIA Committee and the MMEA Conference Committee.
