Dear Collegiate NAfME Folks and Advisors,


I hope this email finds you well. We are excited to announce an opportunity for you to become a Collegiate Ambassador for the Massachusetts Music Educators Association (MMEA). As an ambassador, you will be crucial in running our All-State concert and conference. This is an excellent opportunity to build connections with other collegiates and teachers and to gain practical experience for your resume.


Responsibilities of Collegiate Ambassadors:

  • Collegiate Ambassadors are required to be on-site at the Worcester DCU center on Wednesday, March 20th, 2024, at 5 pm through Saturday, March 23rd, 2024, at 5 pm.

  • You will meet other collegiates and music professionals, attend professional development sessions, and assist as needed.

  • On Saturday, March 23rd, you'll decide if you want to stay in Worcester and help with the Treble chorus or travel to Boston and help with the high school All-State ensembles.

  • Conference fees and room and boarding are covered by MMEA for collegiates.

If you are passionate about music education and want to make a positive impact, we encourage you apply to be a Collegiate Ambassador by January 25th, 2024. After completing this form, your advisors will be contacted for a quick reference.
